Stem Programme

The Chief Guest Mrs Reena Lanba, President NWWA launched STEM Education Programme at Navy Children School ,New Delhi in collaboration with the National Education Foundation, USA and its knowledge partner State University of New York on 02 Jul 18. The STEM (Science, Technology Engineering and Mathematics) education emphasizes on collaboration, research, problem solving and critical thinking.

The Chief Guest witnessed an exhibition put up by the students of the school which showcased applications of STEM education followed by its formal launch. The Chief Guest in her address urged the students to inculcate collaborative learning and innovative applications of the concepts for the STEM subjects.

Prof Dr MB Gururaj, President National Education Foundation was presented the school crest by the Chief Guest and also exchanged MOU with Principal, NCS.

On this occasion, the Chief Guest also announced setting up of ATAL TINKERING LABORATORY, an initiative by NITI AAYOG, Government of India, in the school with a view to give an impetus to STEM learning. This initiative will open new vistas for the students and will ignite a spark in them to think out of the box.
