SADBHAVANA RUN

Navy Children School, Delhi conducted its annual cross country run on 07 Oct 2023. The 5km run, named Sadbhavana Run was held with the aim of promoting a healthy lifestyle and sense of unity among the children. VAdm Krishna Swaminathan, COP at Naval Headquarters graced the occasion as Chief Guest and flagged off the run. Commodore G Rambabu, Commodore (Naval Education); Commodore Satish Shenai, Commanding Officer, INS India; Mrs Oshima Mathur, Principal; PTA members and parents were also present during the occasion.

Over 650 students of Classes V to XII and 300 parents enthusiastically participated in the run. The run was conducted around the scenic surroundings of Nehru Park at Chanakyapuri. At closing ceremony, Chief Guest presented medals to winners of various categories.

Speaking on the occasion, he congratulated the prize winners and participants; and mentioned that such events strengthen the bonding among children, parents and teachers. All students who completed the run were also presented with participation medals. The event culminated with a sumptuous breakfast at Chanakya Bagh playground.

#NCS Delhi conducted annual 5 Km run on 03 December 2022. This year’s run was named as ‘Sadbhavana Run’ to spread message of goodwill for each other. Vice Admiral Suraj Berry #CPS & Chairman School Management Committee flagged off the run which saw participation from more than 600 students of classes V to XII and over 200 parents. The run was conducted around the lush green and scenic boulevard of Chanakyapuri. Mrs Oshima Mathur, Principal welcomed the guests and complimented the students and parents for their wholehearted participation in event. Commodore AA Abhyankar, Commodore (Naval Education) & Vice Chairman School Management Committee and Commodore Satish Shenai, Commanding Officer #INSIndia gave away the trophies to the winners of various categories. Navy Children School - Unity Run 2019

Navy Children School Chanakyapuri, organised its annual event ‘Road Run’ on 12^th October 2019. The theme of this year’s run was ‘Unity’. The event was flagged off by the Chief Guest Cmde Ravi Malhotra, VSM, Commanding Officer, INS India.

Approximately 365 students, parents and grandparents participated in the 5 km Run. The runners propagated the message of 'Say No To Plastic' and exhibited a whole lot of speed, skill, fervour and exhuberance.

The winners of the Unity Run were awarded certificates. Participants were given medals to keep their spirits high and to encourage them.

The event came to a satisfactory close with the inspiring words of the Chief Guest followed by the National Anthem.
