NCS Delhi celebrated Grandparents' Day with a colorful cultural extravaganza! Our Balvatika stars lit up the stage with love & joy. Thank you to all the grandparents who joined us!
A day was dedicated to the grandparents of the kindergartners of Navy Children School. They were invited for some distinct pleasure in the form of Grandparents' Day celebration.
The Principal, Mrs. Oshima Mathur welcomed all the grandparents and parents.
The programme began with a welcome song and dance performance, having a foot-tapping melody.
The audience got to watch what “Mera School” was all about, with children showcasing their myriad talents.
The audience was captivated by the Dada -Dadi song performance.
Taking into account the current fervour of Mission Chandaayaan, an informative skit was smartly presented by the children.
Kindergartners also danced to the graceful & fascinating beats in “Grandma ….. Grandpa…..”
The Headmistress, Mrs Vrishali Yadav rendered the vote of thanks.
This endeavour by the children and their teachers was well appreciated. The grandparents were given a token of love and affection made by children and wonderful memories to cherish for a long time.

The programme began with an invocation, as dance is said to be the purest art form.
The LKG Children performed to peppy songs, which were also about grandparents.
The audience got to watch the skit which was all about how the universe was created.
The Dada-Dadi song performance held everyone spellbound!

The kindergartners of Navy Children School celebrated Grandparents’ Day on 30th Sept 2021. Grandparents and parents were invited to spend some wonderful time with their grandchildren virtually.
Grandparents and parents joined the live webinar through MS Teams. The Principal Mrs Oshima Mathur welcomed all parents and grandparents on this occasion. The programme began with an invocation “Sharde Maa”. LKG students displayed their flair through a peppy song which was written and composed by them with the help of their teacher.
The audience was taken on a Marine adventure, meeting various creatures of the seas. It reiterated the importance of maintaining the ecological balance by not polluting the water bodies. The children conveyed their gratitude to the grandparents with the rendition of the song “You spend time with me”.
The headmistress Mrs Vrishali Yadav rendered the vote of thanks. The cheerful moments and the warmth was palpable throughout the programme. The grandchildren made beautiful cards for their grandparents.

Grandparents’ Day celebrations were held on 21st November 2020, where the beloved grandparents were invited to spend their precious time with their grandchildren virtually. They along with the parents joined the live webinar through Microsoft Teams. The Principal, Ms Oshima Mathur welcomed them all on this joyous occasion. The programme commenced with a welcome song and a spectacular dance performance on, ‘Oh Grandma, Grandpa-We Love You’.

The little flowers of UKG performed a skit to depict the vitality of healthy eating habits. It was followed by a dance on ‘Vegetables for you and me’. The enthusiastic tiny tots presented a vibrant and colourful show expressing their love and gratitude for their grandparents. A few of them enlivened the atmosphere with poems and songs on grandparents.

The Headmistress, Ms Vrishali Yadav delivered the Vote of Thanks. The efforts made by the children and their teachers were immensely appreciated by the parents and the grandparents through the messages and the pictures sent by them online.
